There are 6 interactive nature of science activities to review scientific investigations and the scientific method. This is a perfect resource to use for in person instruction as well as online learning.</p>
<p>Students will review vocabulary relating to scientific investigations, practice using real-world examples, identify independent and dependent variables in scientific investigations and design a quick investigation of their own. The nature of science activities include either drag and drop or short answer text.</p>
<p>Each activity can be projected on a smart board for added whole-group engagement or can be used in a stations style format to have students walk around the room to complete the 6 different activities.</p>
<p>Print in &#8220;booklet&#8221; format to easily add the print activities to traditional interactive science notebooks or add them to students digital interactive notebooks through Google Slides.</p>

<p><strong>The 7 types of stations include:</strong></p>
<p><em>1. Discover</em> &#8211; Students will complete an independent research activity using the internet.</p>
<p><em>2. Observe</em> &#8211; Students will observe through creation of a rainbow liquid density tower.</p>
<p><em>3. Experiment </em>&#8211; Students will perform a short experiment by discovering the density of a chocolate bar.</p>
<p><em>4. Write</em> &#8211; Students will explain their answers in 2-3 sentences.</p>
<p><em>5. Create</em> &#8211; Students will create graphic organizers about changes in states of matter.</p>
<p><em>6. Sort</em> &#8211; Students will organize and sort to match density equations with answers.</p>
<p><em>7. Quiz</em> &#8211; Students will answer a mix of 8 true/false, multiple choice and short answer questions.</p>
