Description
A perfect lab for a marine science, marine biology or oceanography class! This edible, interactive lab can be used to introduce or review coral polyp anatomy within the phylum cnidaria.
Students will gather different items to build coral polyps. The food items they choose will need to represent the anatomical parts of the coral polyp and the students will need to be able to describe why they choose the food item to represent that part.
The resource includes a place for students to plan, draw and label their model prior to construction as well as 3 review questions.
